Profitable supplement brand with an 86% repurchase rate, over 90% gross margin, and 140 subscription customers

An online store in the dietary supplements sector that has been profitable from the start is for sale (direct sales via its own store; not yet on Amazon). The business model stands out with key metrics that are rare in e-commerce: 86% of orders come from repeat customers, over 140 subscription customers ensure predictable monthly revenue, and the gross margin is around 90%—achieved through a supplier in Germany, meaning there are no currency or customs risks. Since its founding, the business has built a customer base of approximately 1,800 customers, with a return rate of just 1%. Operations are intentionally streamlined and can be managed in about 10–15 hours per week; customer service is handled by a freelancer. A proven, predictable model with plenty of room for further growth. //// KEY FEATURES //// (1.) = Over 90% gross margin—and that’s with a supplier from Germany! The purchase price is only about €2.70 per unit, while the selling price is €30—a gross margin of around 90%. Noteworthy: This margin is achieved not through sourcing from the Far East, but with a supplier from Germany. For a buyer, this means short shipping routes, no currency or customs risks, and reliable quality—while also offering enormous scope for marketing, discount promotions, and scaling. (2.) = 86% repeat purchase rate: Revenue comes almost exclusively from regular customers According to the store’s analytics, 86% of orders come from repeat customers—a figure that is absolutely exceptional in e-commerce. For a buyer, this means an extremely reliable baseline revenue stream that is highly predictable and less dependent on costly new customer acquisition. Customer loyalty in this niche is thus not only high but a proven reality. (3.) = Over 140 subscription customers with only a 6% monthly churn rate The store has more than 140 active subscription customers who automatically reorder each month. The churn rate is only about 6% month-over-month—meaning 94% of subscribers remain active. For a buyer, this represents a predictable, recurring revenue base that comes in every month without additional marketing effort. With targeted expansion of the subscription model, there is also significant potential for further growth. (4.) = Low purchase price for a business with predictable financials The buyer is not taking on an experiment, but a proven model: The target audiences have been identified, the product has a proven track record of sales, and a German supplier at this purchase price is a resource that is extremely hard to find. Added to this is the subscription base with only a 6% churn rate: With a projected profit of approximately €4,000 for September, existing subscribers alone yield an extrapolated profit of around €66,000 over the next few months—without acquiring any new customers. This makes the revenue for the coming months largely predictable and the purchase price exceptionally attractive. //// FIGURES //// 2026 (through Aug. 31) Revenue = €146,812 2026 (through Aug. 31) Profit = €74,191 Profit Forecast for 2026 = €85,000 Profit Forecast for 2027 = €140,000 Asking price = 120,000 (negotiable) Inventory = [1,500 / included in the purchase price] Additional figures available upon request

B2B SaaS for Subscription and Rental Commerce, €1M Revenue, 85% Recurring

The company is a B2B SaaS provider headquartered in Germany. Its platform is the software infrastructure brands and retailers use to offer physical products on a subscription, rental or leasing basis. It connects to a customer's existing online shop and payment providers and runs the full contract lifecycle behind them: credit check at checkout, recurring billing, tracking of each physical asset across rental cycles, returns and refurbishment, payment reminders and debt collection. General subscription billing tools were built for digital products and do not cover these steps, which is why customers choose a specialist platform over adapting a billing tool or building the capability themselves. Key investment highlights Recurring revenue: total revenue of €1.0M in 2025, of which approximately €865K (85%) is recurring license revenue. Recurring license revenue grew 96% in 2024 and 42% in 2025. Customers pay a monthly license fee plus a commission on the subscription volume they process, so revenue grows as customers grow. High gross margin: 86% in 2025 and 92% in the first half of 2026, up from 61% in 2023. Diversified customers: 53 active customers as of June 2026 in more than a dozen countries, approximately 90% of them in Europe. No single customer accounts for more than approximately 6% of recurring revenue. Customers range from direct to consumer brands to enterprise retailers, in categories including mobility, optical, musical instruments, children's products, health, consumer electronics and furniture. Contract visibility: minimum terms are most commonly 12 to 24 months, and several enterprise agreements run 36 to 60 months. Stable team: 10 people, each with 2.5 to 6 years at the company. Both founders are willing to stay through a transition. Narrowing losses: the EBITDA loss fell from €798K in 2023 to €398K in 2024 and €220K in 2025, and was €88K in the first half of 2026. Management's plan reaches monthly EBITDA breakeven in November 2026 through cost reductions, without assuming revenue growth. The company is not yet profitable, and buyers who require positive EBITDA at acquisition should take that into account. Transaction: a full sale is the preferred path. The shareholders are also open to a majority transaction with the right strategic partner. There is no fixed asking price; qualified buyers are invited to submit an offer after reviewing the data room under NDA.

Digital care-tech platform for detecting daily activities based on electricity usage

The company is an Austrian care-tech firm that develops and markets a digital assistance platform designed to help older adults live longer, safer, and more independent lives in their own homes. The solution has been validated in the Austrian startup market and is currently used by approximately 20 paying households and about 40 test households. In addition, pilot projects have been implemented with social and healthcare institutions. The company thus has an established technological foundation and is on the verge of the scaling phase. The company develops and markets a digital assistance solution that enables older adults to live as long, safe, and independent a life as possible in their own homes while also providing relief to family members and caregivers. Using proprietary algorithms, the system analyzes a household’s electricity consumption patterns, learns individual daily routines from this data, and automatically notifies the designated contacts in the event of unusual deviations—without cameras, microphones, or wearables. The product combines passive safety at home (activity detection) with active safety on the go (emergency button). The product—comprising hardware, an IoT platform, and a native app (iOS/Android)—has been available on the Austrian startup market since May 2025 and has been technically and practically validated. As of August 2026, approximately 20 paying households and 40 test households are using the solution. Since the end of 2025, pilot and collaboration projects have also been underway with nursing and care organizations, including two established Austrian nursing and care organizations. Further scaling is to take place primarily through B2B2C partnerships with operators of assisted living facilities, nursing and social service organizations, emergency call service providers, energy suppliers, and insurance companies. Initial concrete inquiries have been received or are currently under negotiation. The majority shareholder is the venture subsidiary of an Austrian energy provider, holding 80% of the shares. As part of a strategic realignment of the group, it is selling this stake (share deal). The remaining shares are held by a venture unit of a digital agency (10%) and one of the co-founders (10%, founder shares). The management team is prepared to remain on board and continue driving operational scaling. To date, approximately €1.6 million in capital, including shareholder loans, has been invested in the company. The company is seeking a strategic buyer—for example, from the healthcare, health tech, telecommunications, or insurance sectors—or a family office; a supplementary earn-out is negotiable. The timeline calls for a prompt closing; initial contact is open—an NDA will be signed only upon further discussions.

Buying a company vs. buying a firm

Buying a company means acquiring an independent organizational unit that regularly carries out an economic activity. A company can consist of one or several business operations. An individual can also found such an independent unit if they regularly carry out an economic activity — in that case it is called a sole proprietorship. As a rule, sole proprietors don't have to register in the commercial register; without that registration, they don't legally count as a "firm." A trade name, colloquially a "firm," is the name under which a company or sole proprietor appears publicly and conducts its business. Buying "a firm" therefore technically means acquiring the company's name or trading name. In everyday use, though, it's used interchangeably with buying a company — i.e. acquiring the entire business.
