Profitable online supplement store with a gross margin of over 80%, no inventory, and €3,000–€5,000 in profit per month

A profitable online store for premium dietary supplements with customers in seven European countries is for sale. The business model is radically lean: no employees, no agencies, no in-house warehouse—the supplier ships directly to the end customer, so no capital is tied up in inventory. After deducting VAT, merchandise costs, and shipping, approximately 80% of revenue remains as gross profit; for larger orders, this figure rises to up to 88%. The time commitment is only about two hours per day, and the store currently generates an average profit of €3,000 to €5,000 per month. The return rate is just 1%, and the average order value is around €70. Advertising campaigns and target audiences have been tested and proven—a new owner can continue scaling the business from day one. //// KEY FEATURES //// (1.) = Validated model – testing phase complete The groundwork—which is where most online store startups fail—has already been laid here: a product that sells, campaigns and target audiences that work reliably, and a dependable supplier backing the business. Anyone who wants to avoid the startup risks and the initial growth phase can take over a proven business model here at a fair price. (2.) = Radically lean—2 hours a day, almost no fixed costs The store is run solely by the founder—without employees, agencies, or a warehouse. The supplier ships directly to the end customer, eliminating the need to tie up capital in inventory. For a buyer, this means a nearly entirely variable cost model: no salaries, leases, or warehouse costs—and a simple handover. (3.) = Over 80% gross margin – subscription model in the works After deducting sales tax, merchandise, and shipping, approximately 80% of revenue remains as gross profit—up to 88% for larger bundles. This is based on a premium positioning with prices starting at €39.90 for an all-inclusive purchase that includes merchandise, shipping, and import duties. A subscription model requested by customers is in the works—a direct lever for predictable repeat sales. (4.) = The shop is just getting started—every growth lever has yet to be activated The most difficult phase—validating the product, target audience, and campaigns—is behind us. Everything that follows now is significantly easier: Google, TikTok, SEO, influencers, the subscription model, and additional markets are all ready to serve as growth drivers. The biggest driver lies in the product lineup: Additional products can be easily added through the supplier, and upselling to existing customers occurs without incurring new advertising costs. //// NUMBERS //// - Average monthly profit of approximately €3,000 to €5,000 - Profit forecast (next 12 months) = €50,000 - Selling price = €55,000 (negotiable) - Inventory = none (dropshipping; no in-house inventory) //// OTHER //// The following will be transferred: domain, online store, social media accounts, supplier contacts, customer data, advertising strategies, and all relevant know-how (asset deal). Growth opportunities: Additional products can be easily added to the product lineup through the supplier; the established subscription model ensures predictable repeat purchases; and additional advertising channels as well as new countries can be tapped into. The business is equally suitable for career changers looking to take over a profitable business with minimal time commitment, for investors seeking a lean side project, and for existing stores, brands, or agencies looking to expand their portfolio. The store can also be operated alongside a full-time job. Of course, the seller will be available for a handover and training period lasting several months. German snack brand specializing in flavored sunflower seeds with multichannel distribution

The GmbH is a growth-oriented German brand company in the dynamic snack food market. The company develops and markets innovative, flavored sunflower seeds and positions an internationally established snack product within a modern, eye-catching brand universe. The scalable business model combines direct sales through its own online store with B2B business and brick-and-mortar retail. The products are already available in kiosks, snack vending machines, and numerous REWE stores. This provides an attractive foundation for the further expansion of the company’s national retail presence. The transaction also includes the sales and start-up model developed to approach and tap into EDEKA stores. Also included are the established contacts and qualified leads with EDEKA store owners and stores, to the extent that their transfer is permitted under applicable law and data protection regulations. For a buyer, this opens up the opportunity to immediately continue existing sales approaches and significantly accelerate market penetration. Further growth potential lies in acquiring additional retail and wholesale partners, introducing new flavors and packaging formats, expanding the online business, and pursuing internationalization in the future. Economies of scale in purchasing, production, packaging, and logistics offer additional potential for improving profitability. The sale is being conducted solely due to the managing director’s planned emigration and not because of a lack of growth prospects for the company. We are seeking a strategic buyer or investor who will take over the existing brand, product portfolio, and established sales structures and consistently realize the existing growth potential.

Buying a company vs. buying a firm

Buying a company means acquiring an independent organizational unit that regularly carries out an economic activity. A company can consist of one or several business operations. An individual can also found such an independent unit if they regularly carry out an economic activity — in that case it is called a sole proprietorship. As a rule, sole proprietors don't have to register in the commercial register; without that registration, they don't legally count as a "firm." A trade name, colloquially a "firm," is the name under which a company or sole proprietor appears publicly and conducts its business. Buying "a firm" therefore technically means acquiring the company's name or trading name. In everyday use, though, it's used interchangeably with buying a company — i.e. acquiring the entire business.
