Established craft business with showroom | 5.0★ ratings | Ready for takeover

An established craft business with a very strong regional presence in the field of high-quality roofing and outdoor solutions is for sale. The company has been operating successfully in the market for several years and enjoys strong local recognition as well as numerous 5-star reviews on Google. The business is intentionally run in a lean, owner-managed manner. The owners are actively involved in day-to-day operations and are supported during installations and peak periods by trained part-time workers. There is currently no permanent staff, which keeps the cost structure flexible and easy to manage. Demand is stable and driven by word-of-mouth referrals, online visibility, and the company’s own showroom, which has established itself as an effective sales tool. The business model is clear, transparent, and free of complex structures. Financial performance in 2025 was intentionally weaker compared to 2024. This was due to the personal circumstances of the partners. One of the partners was on parental leave for a time, while the other partner had health limitations. Day-to-day operations and demand remained stable. The company is fully ready for a handover. A structured onboarding process and the transfer of all relevant procedures and contacts are planned. Under new leadership, the business offers attractive growth potential.

Owner-operated bicycle shop with repair shop seeks a successor

This owner-operated bicycle shop, which has been in business for over 80 years and features an on-site repair shop, is set to be handed over to new, enthusiastic owners in the near future. The business is located in the heart of Schleswig-Holstein, and its customers come from the town and the surrounding area—many are willing to travel up to 100 km to take advantage of the shop’s service and expert advice. The bicycle dealer works with all major leasing companies and is a member of the trade association. The business is owner-occupied and can be leased or rented. Of course, purchasing the property is also an option, but not a requirement. The repair shop is staffed by four full-time employees and one part-time worker. All repair shop staff assist in sales as needed. In addition, there are two other full-time employees in sales. The average age of all employees is approximately 40 years. The sale of bicycles and accessories accounts for the largest share of total revenue; 45% of revenue comes from e-bike sales through leasing. Further potential exists in the leasing sector and through expanding the product range, such as cargo bikes. The online presence can also be developed, and social media can be integrated. An accompanying buyout is possible. There is also the option to join an excellent, established concept as a franchisee. A non-disclosure agreement is required for an initial consultation.

Cozy café/bistro with an established business for sale

This restaurant offers a unique opportunity to take over a lively, warmly run establishment that has long been a staple gathering place in the neighborhood. From the popular lunch service to the relaxed afternoon hours and the convivial evening atmosphere, there’s a natural flow throughout the day that attracts guests of all ages and creates a pleasant, welcoming ambiance. The interior, with seating for about 35, is clearly laid out and warmly designed, complemented by a separate smoking area that adds flexibility. During the summer months, the large patio, which seats about 100, becomes the heart of the business and regularly draws large crowds. A key factor in the restaurant’s success is its professionally organized delivery service, which has established itself as a stable source of income and ensures consistent revenue even outside peak hours. Thanks to efficient processes and a well-coordinated team, the restaurant can be run with a relatively small staff—a major advantage for cost-effective and stress-free operations. On days with sporting events, a special energy emerges that brings additional vibrancy and boosts revenue. The entire inventory is included in the sale, enabling an immediate and straightforward takeover. A restaurant with heart, structure, and potential—ready for someone who wants to continue its story and enrich it with new ideas.

Iconic bar in Regensburg seeks successor to take over the business

I am looking for a new owner for my pub/bar in Regensburg. The pub opened in 2003, and I took it over in February 2008. After 18 years, however, it’s time for me to move on to something new, so I’m looking for a successor who will take over the bar for a transfer fee. The bar is located in the heart of Regensburg’s Old Town; the cathedral and the Steinerne Brücke are each just 5–8 minutes away, and the Fischmarkt bus stop is right around the corner. The bar is just as popular with tourists as it is with its large number of regulars. Currently, this unique 12th-century vaulted cellar can seat approximately 65 people. The commercial space measures 100 m², which includes the main room, bar area, cocktail nook, kitchen, small alcove, men’s and women’s restrooms, dry storage, cold storage, and a small storage room. The existing license is for a bar serving light meals; however, it does not permit the preparation of foods that produce grease fumes (such as frying or deep-frying). An outdoor seating area in the alley can also be applied for under this license. The bar is leased from a private owner and is being offered for lease only. The transfer fee will be negotiated with me, the current tenant; I am happy to hand over the entire inventory, including the business name and all rights. Additionally, various social media accounts can be transferred. The business concept can, of course, be modified and expanded as desired; I look forward to finding a motivated successor.

Buying a company vs. buying a firm

Buying a company means acquiring an independent organizational unit that regularly carries out an economic activity. A company can consist of one or several business operations. An individual can also found such an independent unit if they regularly carry out an economic activity — in that case it is called a sole proprietorship. As a rule, sole proprietors don't have to register in the commercial register; without that registration, they don't legally count as a "firm." A trade name, colloquially a "firm," is the name under which a company or sole proprietor appears publicly and conducts its business. Buying "a firm" therefore technically means acquiring the company's name or trading name. In everyday use, though, it's used interchangeably with buying a company — i.e. acquiring the entire business.
