A precision manufacturing group currently being established is seeking medium-sized specialty companies in the fields of automation, fluid technology, electronics, and metalworking in the DACH region. WHAT IS THE GROUP’S GOAL? The future group will form a network of specialists in precision mechanical components and systems—from development and manufacturing to assembly and service. Through the use of robotics, AI, and industrial data logic, the goal is to increase value creation and address the succession gap, particularly in the skilled workforce sector. WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR? We are seeking small and medium-sized enterprises in the fields of automation, motion control, fluid technology, hydraulic systems, servo hydraulics, control technology, industrial electronics, and metalworking. Examples of suitable business models include manufacturers of precision turned parts, pipe and hose fittings, hydraulic cylinders, and sheet metal and metal fabrication companies. WHICH INDUSTRIES ARE OF INTEREST? Automation, motion, fluid technology, hydraulic systems, servo hydraulics, control technology, industrial electronics, metalworking, and relevant development service providers such as engineering firms WHAT REVENUE AND EARNINGS ARE OF INTEREST? The companies should generate an EBITDA of over 3% and ideally have revenue in the range of €5–25 million. The business model should offer the potential for further growth in revenue and earnings.

We are looking for an established medium-sized company that we can acquire as part of a succession plan and continue to operate in the long term. The acquirer will personally serve as the company’s successor, managing operations with their own capital. Search criteria: • Revenue: 1 to 25 million EUR or CHF • EBIT: up to approximately 1 million EUR or CHF • Reason for sale: retirement succession, family succession, or a special situation requiring restructuring with viable prospects; no companies currently in insolvency proceedings • Transaction: Majority acquisition up to 100%, preferably a share deal; carve-out possible • Location in Germany: Within approximately a 2-hour drive of Hanover or Frankfurt am Main • Location in Switzerland: German-speaking Switzerland • Open to all industries, except traditional craft businesses, food, hospitality, software companies, logistics, and the healthcare sector We are particularly interested in companies with a stable customer base, recurring revenue, and a functioning second-tier management team. We place a high priority on preserving jobs and maintaining regional ties, and we work with the owner to shape the transition. Discretion is a given.
