Well-established temporary staffing agency in Bavaria – Asset Deal

As part of an asset deal, the operating business of a temporary staffing agency established in 2009 is available for acquisition. The company has 18 external employees, 3 internal employees with experience in temporary staffing, and 39 clients, primarily from the skilled trades sector. Note: The transfer of internal employees must be finalized with the seller. The operational focus is on providing technical and skilled trades support staff. A well-established internal team with many years of experience, long-standing client relationships, and a largely consistent pricing structure form a solid operational foundation. The average length of service for the internal team is 16 years. For a strategic acquirer, the transaction offers, in particular, the opportunity to rapidly expand its own presence in this economically strong metropolitan area. The business is well-suited as a regional bolt-on for existing staffing service platforms: access to clients and personnel is complemented by a streamlined support structure, while recruiting, administration, and other central functions can be integrated into existing structures in the future. The acquisition enables an immediate expansion of the customer base and workforce—without the time- and resource-intensive organic growth through new customer acquisition and recruiting—and thus creates an attractive foundation for rapidly expanding its regional market share.

An independent creative agency with a 30% EBITDA margin

An established Swiss premium agency in the field of digital corporate communications is for sale. It boasts clear market positioning, high profitability, and operational management that is completely independent of the owners. The company is positioned in the premium segment, covers the entire production cycle from concept to production, and serves a broadly diversified client base throughout Switzerland. A key competitive advantage lies in the lean production structure, which has been optimized over the years and enables profitability above the industry average. In fiscal year 2025, the company generated operating revenue of approximately CHF 1.7 million and adjusted EBITDA of approximately CHF 515,000, corresponding to a strong EBITDA margin of 30%. Based on current trends, operating revenue of approximately CHF 2.0 million and EBITDA of over CHF 700,000 are expected for 2026. The business model is extremely capital-light, free of financial debt, and features a very solid balance sheet structure with high net liquidity. The broadly diversified customer base ranges from SMEs to large national corporations and public institutions, with revenue spread across a large number of customers, resulting in a correspondingly low concentration risk. In-house AI tools are already in operational use, and the existing creative expertise provides a strong foundation for developing new AI-powered offerings without cannibalizing the profitable premium core business. Since the business is organized digitally and is location-independent, it can be scaled without significant additional investment. The owner is seeking a suitable succession plan due to a new, non-competing business venture. To ensure an orderly transition, the owner is available on a flexible basis during a training phase. The transaction offers a successor the opportunity to take over a highly profitable, scalable, and future-proof communications agency with a well-established team, a strong market position, and attractive growth options.

Buying a company vs. buying a firm

Buying a company means acquiring an independent organizational unit that regularly carries out an economic activity. A company can consist of one or several business operations. An individual can also found such an independent unit if they regularly carry out an economic activity — in that case it is called a sole proprietorship. As a rule, sole proprietors don't have to register in the commercial register; without that registration, they don't legally count as a "firm." A trade name, colloquially a "firm," is the name under which a company or sole proprietor appears publicly and conducts its business. Buying "a firm" therefore technically means acquiring the company's name or trading name. In everyday use, though, it's used interchangeably with buying a company — i.e. acquiring the entire business.
