Established wheel refurbishment business with high-quality equipment for sale

A fully equipped and operational wheel refurbishment business is for sale. The business has been established in the market for several years and serves private customers as well as auto repair shops, paint shops, tire dealers, car dealerships, and commercial clients. Thanks to its existing customer base, streamlined processes, and high-quality equipment, the business is immediately ready to continue operations and generate profits without the need for additional investment. The buyer will acquire not only the machinery but also a functioning business with well-established workflows, existing demand, professional technology, and a comprehensive value chain—from paint stripping to CNC polishing. The scope of services includes chemical paint stripping, blasting, mechanical prep work, straightening, powder coating, CNC high-gloss turning, as well as finishing and final assembly. This allows for the high-quality in-house refurbishment of a complete set of wheels, enabling high margins and short turnaround times. The existing equipment allows for a high degree of vertical integration without outsourcing, while ensuring controlled quality and attractive contribution margins per wheel. The business serves as an immediately profitable profit center, particularly for car dealerships, repair shops, or wheel refinishers. The business is ideally suited for existing wheel refinishers looking to expand or establish a second location, as well as for body shops, paint shops, and smart repair shops.

Buying a company vs. buying a firm

Buying a company means acquiring an independent organizational unit that regularly carries out an economic activity. A company can consist of one or several business operations. An individual can also found such an independent unit if they regularly carry out an economic activity — in that case it is called a sole proprietorship. As a rule, sole proprietors don't have to register in the commercial register; without that registration, they don't legally count as a "firm." A trade name, colloquially a "firm," is the name under which a company or sole proprietor appears publicly and conducts its business. Buying "a firm" therefore technically means acquiring the company's name or trading name. In everyday use, though, it's used interchangeably with buying a company — i.e. acquiring the entire business.
