Established massage and facial practice with strong Google visibility—for sale

A massage and facial practice in the Rheinisch-Bergisch district, established for about three years, is for sale. It has built up a strong local reputation and is currently in operation. The fully furnished location comprises approximately 74 m² on the ground floor, two versatile rooms, two separate entrances, a large storefront, and parking directly in front of the entrance. In addition to the practice’s furnishings, the acquisition package includes the professionally developed website—including the domain—as well as the existing Google Business Profile, which features excellent reviews and established visibility on Google Search and Google Maps. The vast majority of current new client acquisition occurs via Google Search and Google Maps. The practice has been operated as an owner-managed, one-person business with no salaried employees. There is additional growth potential through the simultaneous use of both rooms, hiring additional practitioners, creating extra workstations in the larger main room, or partially subletting the space after consultation with the landlord. The handover will be structured and includes an introduction to existing processes and digital systems, as well as professional training in facial and buccal massage. The sale is taking place due to the owner’s career transition. Asking price for the entire business package: €19,500 (negotiable)

Buying a company vs. buying a firm

Buying a company means acquiring an independent organizational unit that regularly carries out an economic activity. A company can consist of one or several business operations. An individual can also found such an independent unit if they regularly carry out an economic activity — in that case it is called a sole proprietorship. As a rule, sole proprietors don't have to register in the commercial register; without that registration, they don't legally count as a "firm." A trade name, colloquially a "firm," is the name under which a company or sole proprietor appears publicly and conducts its business. Buying "a firm" therefore technically means acquiring the company's name or trading name. In everyday use, though, it's used interchangeably with buying a company — i.e. acquiring the entire business.
