Online store for replacement parts, accessories, and maintenance products for fully automatic coffee machines

The company is a specialized online retailer of replacement parts and accessories for fully automatic coffee machines and coffee makers. The product range includes a wide selection of original and compatible replacement parts for numerous popular brands and machine models. These include components such as brew groups, boiler heaters, water pumps, gaskets, grinders, milk frothers/milk carafes, as well as other technical components and many small parts. In addition, the company offers maintenance products such as cleaning tablets, milk system cleaners, descalers, and water filters, which contribute to the upkeep, hygiene, and longevity of coffee machines. Furthermore, the company carries coffee products as well as select coffee machines and accessories. The company operates its own warehouse with thousands of well-organized replacement parts. The business can be operated anywhere in Germany, regardless of location. Since the warehouse is very well organized and the parts are stackable for transport, the entire inventory—including shelves and IT equipment—can be loaded onto 1 to 2 trucks very quickly and transported anywhere. This business can be particularly attractive for existing repair shops that want to expand their reach through mail-order sales and keep replacement parts immediately available in their own warehouse for repairs. The costs of purchasing replacement parts for a repair shop can be significantly reduced thanks to low purchase prices. Sales are conducted exclusively online via an e-commerce store and email orders, with services such as technical support via email, processing of spare parts inquiries, and fast shipping. The focus is on a broad product range, fair prices, and reliable order fulfillment. Approximately 800 to 1,000 orders are processed and shipped each month. The level of automation in processing incoming orders is very high thanks to appropriate interfaces between the inventory management system, the online store, and shipping and payment service providers. A maximum of 4 hours per day is required for shipping processing.

Buying a company vs. buying a firm

Buying a company means acquiring an independent organizational unit that regularly carries out an economic activity. A company can consist of one or several business operations. An individual can also found such an independent unit if they regularly carry out an economic activity — in that case it is called a sole proprietorship. As a rule, sole proprietors don't have to register in the commercial register; without that registration, they don't legally count as a "firm." A trade name, colloquially a "firm," is the name under which a company or sole proprietor appears publicly and conducts its business. Buying "a firm" therefore technically means acquiring the company's name or trading name. In everyday use, though, it's used interchangeably with buying a company — i.e. acquiring the entire business.
