100 TEUR | Subordinated loan | ~11% p.a. | Automated food distribution

Subordinated Loan: Proven Traction Meets a Scalable Business Model Since its market launch in October 2025, monthly revenue has nearly quintupled from 16 TEUR to approximately 75 TEUR in just six months. More than 30 locations are in operation, with cumulative revenue totaling 248 TEUR (Oct. 25–Mar. 26). The operational foundation for further expansion has been laid. To finance the ongoing rollout, the company is seeking bridge financing of 100 TEUR in the form of a subordinated loan. Use of funds is fully earmarked: 61% for vending machines, 18% for logistics, 13% for personnel, and 8% for working capital. The Model: Fully automated vending units for fresh food in public spaces, restocked daily with fresh products from regional artisanal businesses, available 24/7, contactless payment, and real-time digital inventory monitoring. Site spaces are provided by local municipalities on minimal terms; there are no real estate costs. New locations are operational within a few weeks, and the units are modularly expandable. The company is contractually protected from competition at each location. Its regional recognition is evidenced by national media coverage. Strategy & Outlook: The goal is to reach 130+ locations by December 2026 as an operational and economic foundation for a subsequent nationwide rollout. The automated food retail segment is still in its infancy in Germany, with virtually no direct competitors.

Owner-operated bicycle shop with repair shop seeks a successor

This owner-operated bicycle shop, which has been in business for over 80 years and features an on-site repair shop, is set to be handed over to new, enthusiastic owners in the near future. The business is located in the heart of Schleswig-Holstein, and its customers come from the town and the surrounding area—many are willing to travel up to 100 km to take advantage of the shop’s service and expert advice. The bicycle dealer works with all major leasing companies and is a member of the trade association. The business is owner-occupied and can be leased or rented. Of course, purchasing the property is also an option, but not a requirement. The repair shop is staffed by four full-time employees and one part-time worker. All repair shop staff assist in sales as needed. In addition, there are two other full-time employees in sales. The average age of all employees is approximately 40 years. The sale of bicycles and accessories accounts for the largest share of total revenue; 45% of revenue comes from e-bike sales through leasing. Further potential exists in the leasing sector and through expanding the product range, such as cargo bikes. The online presence can also be developed, and social media can be integrated. An accompanying buyout is possible. There is also the option to join an excellent, established concept as a franchisee. A non-disclosure agreement is required for an initial consultation.

Buying a company vs. buying a firm

Buying a company means acquiring an independent organizational unit that regularly carries out an economic activity. A company can consist of one or several business operations. An individual can also found such an independent unit if they regularly carry out an economic activity — in that case it is called a sole proprietorship. As a rule, sole proprietors don't have to register in the commercial register; without that registration, they don't legally count as a "firm." A trade name, colloquially a "firm," is the name under which a company or sole proprietor appears publicly and conducts its business. Buying "a firm" therefore technically means acquiring the company's name or trading name. In everyday use, though, it's used interchangeably with buying a company — i.e. acquiring the entire business.
