An established multi-channel e-commerce company specializing in scooters and recreational products under its own brand

An established multi-channel e-commerce business based in North Rhine-Westphalia, in operation since 2016, is for sale. The business specializes in scooters as well as sports and leisure items. Sales are conducted through a long-established Amazon seller account, the company’s own online store, an existing OTTO Marketplace account, and other relevant online marketplaces. The company also owns a registered European private label. In fiscal year 2024, gross revenue of just under €1.0 million was generated through the online sales channels. Since 2025, due to a strategic realignment by the shareholders, the company has deliberately refrained from further actively expanding its inventory and is gradually selling off existing stock. The existing suppliers for the core product range can, in principle, be continued under a new owner. This makes it possible to actively expand the product range again in the short term. In addition, there are existing contacts with manufacturers for the further development of proprietary products and the company’s own brand. The company has a very lean and largely outsourced structure. Warehousing, shipping, and accounting are largely outsourced or, in part, handled through Amazon FBA. The number of employees listed on the platform refers to the current managing director; there are no operational staff, and none need to be taken on as part of the transaction. Other key assets include a long-standing customer and order history, excellent store reviews, established marketplace structures, extensive product and listing data, as well as existing supplier and manufacturer contacts. For a buyer, there is particular potential in restocking inventory, expanding Amazon FBA and the OTTO Marketplace, making greater use of additional sales channels, and further developing the private label.

Timeless fashion brand | Steady growth | 40% repeat customers

A fashion brand established in 2019 is up for sale. It combines timeless basics with modern statement designs, thereby occupying a clearly defined niche between high-quality everyday wear and expressive streetwear. Over the years, a robust brand foundation has been built in the German-speaking market, successfully establishing itself through clear positioning, high brand recognition, and exceptionally strong customer loyalty—including a loyal customer base, a professional sales structure, a robust CRM database, and well-established processes in production, fulfillment, and marketing. //// KEY FEATURES //// (1.) With a repurchase rate of around 40–45%, the brand has an exceptionally loyal customer base. This high level of loyalty ensures consistently recurring revenue, strong predictability, and clearly demonstrates that product quality, brand identity, and customer experience are sustainably compelling. (2.) An organic revenue share of around 30% underscores the brand’s established market position. The brand is not purely advertising-driven but benefits from genuine brand awareness, word-of-mouth recommendations, and an established community, which ensures stability and long-term growth potential. (3.) The brand deliberately positions itself apart from the fast-fashion mass market and focuses on high-quality basics with a clear design focus. It is precisely this combination that fosters genuine brand loyalty rather than short-term impulse purchases—customers return time and again not because of artificial marketing tactics, but out of conviction. //// REASON FOR SALE //// The planned sale is part of a strategic realignment by the current shareholders. The brand was deliberately designed to function independently of its founder—with streamlined processes, a clear brand identity, and an operational structure that enables seamless continuation and scaling by a new owner. //// PERFECTLY SUITED FOR //// Ideal for career changers, strategic buyers, or fashion-oriented brand builders who wish to acquire and further develop an already established brand with substance, a strong identity, and genuine growth potential.

Buying a company vs. buying a firm

Buying a company means acquiring an independent organizational unit that regularly carries out an economic activity. A company can consist of one or several business operations. An individual can also found such an independent unit if they regularly carry out an economic activity — in that case it is called a sole proprietorship. As a rule, sole proprietors don't have to register in the commercial register; without that registration, they don't legally count as a "firm." A trade name, colloquially a "firm," is the name under which a company or sole proprietor appears publicly and conducts its business. Buying "a firm" therefore technically means acquiring the company's name or trading name. In everyday use, though, it's used interchangeably with buying a company — i.e. acquiring the entire business.
