The portfolio includes full-time inpatient care, as well as short-term care, assisted living, hospital-avoidance care, and post-acute care, care for patients in a persistent vegetative state and those requiring long-term mechanical ventilation, and palliative care. Currently, the nursing home has 60 approved beds, which are consistently fully occupied. Concepts and construction plans are already in place for the planned acquisition of additional buildings and land, as well as for capacity expansion, indicating significant potential for growth. Management has thoroughly prepared for the succession, both strategically and operationally, and intends to sell 100% of the shares—with or without the real estate, depending on the buyer’s preference.

Temporary staffing holding company with a permanent temporary staffing license

A shell company established in 1998 is for sale, holding a permanent temporary staffing license (AÜG) and offering the possibility of a quick takeover. The company was originally founded to provide temporary staffing services in the shipbuilding and plant engineering industries, as well as in the automotive sector. Its operational activities have since been suspended. The sale is taking place due to lack of use and the owner’s retirement. The transaction is being facilitated by a seller’s advisor specializing in the temporary staffing industry. The sale will take place as part of a share deal (100% of the company shares). The company has: • a permanent temporary staffing license • fully paid-in share capital • a very good credit rating • an established corporate structure • the potential for a short-term takeover The owner has prepared the company for a legally sound and rapid transfer. The most recent audit by the Federal Employment Agency took place in March 2025. The company was audited specifically with regard to temporary staffing. This includes, in particular, temporary staffing-related structures, Federal Employment Agency (BA) requirements, and the transferability of the company. This offer is particularly attractive to existing staffing agencies, recruiters, or entrepreneurs who wish to enter the temporary staffing market or expand their existing operations at short notice without a lengthy approval process.

Buying a company vs. buying a firm

Buying a company means acquiring an independent organizational unit that regularly carries out an economic activity. A company can consist of one or several business operations. An individual can also found such an independent unit if they regularly carry out an economic activity — in that case it is called a sole proprietorship. As a rule, sole proprietors don't have to register in the commercial register; without that registration, they don't legally count as a "firm." A trade name, colloquially a "firm," is the name under which a company or sole proprietor appears publicly and conducts its business. Buying "a firm" therefore technically means acquiring the company's name or trading name. In everyday use, though, it's used interchangeably with buying a company — i.e. acquiring the entire business.
