A well-established specialist in heavy concrete structures in northern Germany

The company is a well-established specialist in the manufacture of heavy and technically sophisticated precast concrete components in northern Germany. With its manufacturing expertise, it serves customers in the residential, industrial, infrastructure, civil engineering, and hydraulic engineering sectors. Its production capacity allows for the manufacture of components with crane loads of up to approximately 25 metric tons. After two challenging fiscal years, largely marked by the market slump in the construction industry, the company is in a phase of stabilization in 2026 . Despite a difficult start to the year due to weather conditions, the company is again aiming for a balanced result for the current fiscal year. This offers a potential buyer the opportunity to acquire an established precast concrete plant with an existing customer base and established market positioning during a phase of economic restructuring and to benefit from a market recovery. Customers Long-standing business relationships with regional and national construction companies. The top 10 customers account for approximately 77% of revenue and underscore the company’s strong position with key clients. Location Production facility in northern Germany with good access to key sales markets. Transportation distance is a particularly relevant competitive factor when it comes to heavy precast components. Equipment Extensive machinery and equipment fleet, including crane systems, tilting tables, and formwork. The existing infrastructure enables production to continue immediately. Certifications Current DIN/EN certifications and certificates of conformity for concrete, reinforcing steel, and various precast concrete components, including bridge, wall, retaining wall, and foundation elements. In addition, the company holds a sustainability certification in the areas of concrete production and the supply chain. The transaction is particularly well-suited for concrete and precast manufacturers, construction companies, and strategic investors who - expand their presence in northern Germany, - acquire additional production capacity, - add technically sophisticated and heavy precast concrete elements to their portfolio, or - directly take over an existing, certified production site.

Buying a company vs. buying a firm

Buying a company means acquiring an independent organizational unit that regularly carries out an economic activity. A company can consist of one or several business operations. An individual can also found such an independent unit if they regularly carry out an economic activity — in that case it is called a sole proprietorship. As a rule, sole proprietors don't have to register in the commercial register; without that registration, they don't legally count as a "firm." A trade name, colloquially a "firm," is the name under which a company or sole proprietor appears publicly and conducts its business. Buying "a firm" therefore technically means acquiring the company's name or trading name. In everyday use, though, it's used interchangeably with buying a company — i.e. acquiring the entire business.
