The company was founded in 2001 and specializes as a service provider in nuclear technology for a major energy utility. Its current services include all logistics and infrastructure at a reactor site, inspections, repairs, and load securing. In addition, the company was commissioned to decommission the reactors, for which it also holds an exclusive contract for work and services that initially runs through 2028 and automatically renews. An extension of the contract is very likely, as the complete decommissioning work at this site alone will take 15–20 years. The remaining services, aside from decommissioning, are renegotiated year after year and adapted to current needs, allowing the company to function as a general outsourcing service provider for energy utilities.

The company is headquartered directly on the plant grounds. All employees (currently 28–30) must pass a mandatory security clearance to work on a high-security site. Given the long-standing and trusting working relationship, it is highly unlikely that the service contracts will not be renewed in the foreseeable future. The company itself also requires an additional radiation protection license to protect workers in accordance with applicable limits, meaning there is very little competition in this area of specialized services.
