Ecological Systems for the Thermal Renovation of Building Interiors and Exteriors

The company develops and markets eco-friendly systems for thermal renovation of both interior and exterior spaces. These include vapor-permeable interior insulation with integrated copper wall heating, as well as a mechanically supported suspended plaster facade system for natural and mineral insulation materials. In addition, the company planning, training, partner support, building material procurement, and assistance with project management.

The company's clienteleinclude private and commercial building owners, property management companies, developers, municipalities, historic buildings, and companies with renovation or new construction projects. The system is particularly well-suited for older buildings, buildings with facades worth preserving, properties adjacent to other buildings, and projects where natural building materials, low flow temperatures, heat pump compatibility, fire safety, and a long service life are required.

Other customers and partners include plumbers, clay and lime plastering companies, facade contractors, masons, drywall installers, carpenters, architects, energy consultants, building biologists, building materials dealers, and regional general contractors. They can offer the systems as an additional line of business, carry out projects, or source and distribute products and services through the network.

Strategic customers include manufacturers and distributors of natural insulation materials, plasters, building materials, fastening systems, and complementary renovation products. Through consolidated purchasing, regional manufacturing, joint marketing, and a sustainable commission model, all parties involved benefit from additional economic advantages. In the long term, the company is targeting customers and partners throughout the European renovation market.

The market for thermal building retrofits is very large and is growing due to high energy prices, climate targets, regulatory requirements, and the extensive stock of older buildings in Europe. About three-quarters of buildings in the EU are considered energy-inefficient, while the annual retrofit rate remains low. The European renovation wave therefore calls for the renovation of approximately 35 million buildings by 2030.

The company caters to both interior renovation and the significantly larger-scale exterior renovation. Of particular relevance are historic buildings, older structures, buildings on property lines, single-room renovations, and buildings where natural, vapor-permeable, and durable systems are required. Additional demand arises from heat pumps, low flow temperatures, fire protection, circular economy, and greenable facades.

The market is highly fragmented: insulation materials, plasters, heating systems, planning, and execution are usually offered separately. The company combines these areas into coordinated system solutions and supplements them with a partner network, building materials procurement, and project management. This creates a scalable model for German-speaking countries and, later, for other European markets.

The company competes with providers of conventional interior and exterior insulation systems, curtain-wall facades, as well as alternative surface heating systems and complete solutions for energy-efficient building retrofits. The systems stand out due to their combination of vapor-permeable interior insulation and integrated copper wall heating, as well as a mechanically supported, demountable suspended-plaster facade system. Durability, reparability, the use of mineral and natural insulation materials, and many years of practical testing provide clear advantages over standard solutions that are bonded in place or difficult to dismantle. The planned expansion to approximately 2,000 active partners can also strengthen the company’s market presence and access to specialized installers.
