Mining Engineering & Design Services Provider with Regional Footprint

Founded in 2005, the company began as a design and engineering firm, driven by the professional ambition of a team of experts who, during a period of transition, sought to further develop their field while preserving long-standing values cultivated over decades within local mining and scientific institutions. Thanks to its highly professional and expert approach to meeting partner and client requirements, the company quickly evolved into a strong market participant, successfully competing with leading players in related industries. In 2012, the company successfully completed a project involving the takeover of capital and mining assets from a mining entity located in Vrdnik. As part of this transaction, historical heritage, capital, and comprehensive mining assets of a former brown coal mine—established in 1804—were transferred to a newly established legal entity. The acquiring company obtained a 100% ownership stake. Today, the company provides design, engineering, execution of works, and R&D services across a broad range of disciplines, including geology, mining, metallurgy, ecology, construction, inorganic technology, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, and architecture. The company emphasizes a confidential and partnership-based client approach, avoids conflicts of interest, prioritizes employee safety and health, supports the learning and development of younger professionals, and continuously builds on its reputation while increasing long-term enterprise value. Its activities have primarily focused on services related to the design and execution of works for ore exploration and extraction.

Hair Salon Berlin Prenzlauer Berg

Since 2007, this hair salon, located in a quiet, green courtyard setting in Berlin’s Prenzlauer Berg neighborhood, has built up a loyal customer base. The salon covers 75 m² and features three styling stations, with a base rent of €1,455.09 plus electricity. The unique atmosphere—combining a natural setting, personalized consultations, and modern hair services—has earned the salon excellent reviews and numerous referrals for years. The entire inventory is available for takeover. The furnishings, furniture, and equipment are high-quality, well-maintained, and ready for immediate use. A loyal, diverse client base—comprising both natural hair care and conventional clients—is also available for takeover, ensuring a seamless transition. The landlords are open to a successor. I currently run the salon on my own three days a week, and it already generates annual revenue in the high five-figure range. At the same time, there is significant room for growth, e.g., through extended hours, additional staff, chair rentals, or additional services. The handover is planned for no later than the end of 2026 or early 2027, as I am relocating to Brandenburg for work. There are no outstanding debts, rent arrears, or other liabilities. The salon is centrally located and easily accessible by tram, subway, and commuter rail. If you are seriously interested, I look forward to hearing from you. I’d be happy to discuss further details in person.

Well-established retail company—strong private label for cleaning and personal care products

The company sells consumer chemical products under its own brand, with a focus on household cleaning and automotive care. It operates highly efficiently with a lean workforce, highly automated processes (AI), and a fully digitized inventory management system (JTL). As a result, there is significant potential for scaling up, with over 28 products currently in development. Market expansion into the UK and the U.S. is already underway. A long-term, exclusive partnership with a fast-growing mid-sized manufacturer in Germany ensures product availability—95% of the products are produced exclusively for the company. The business is highly cash-flow optimized and minimizes the capital required for procurement. The appointed management team will remain on board long-term following the sale. A detailed scaling plan for the next three years calls for doubling the product range while maintaining the current staffing structure and existing processes. Additional growth opportunities arise from the company’s own online store, teleshopping, and B2B sales, as well as placement in brick-and-mortar retail stores. These prospects offer the potential to further develop the brand into one of the leading players in the household chemicals sector in Germany. The company is being sold directly by the shareholders. The reason for the sale is a change of location and personal and business changes affecting both shareholders.

Buying a company vs. buying a firm

Buying a company means acquiring an independent organizational unit that regularly carries out an economic activity. A company can consist of one or several business operations. An individual can also found such an independent unit if they regularly carry out an economic activity — in that case it is called a sole proprietorship. As a rule, sole proprietors don't have to register in the commercial register; without that registration, they don't legally count as a "firm." A trade name, colloquially a "firm," is the name under which a company or sole proprietor appears publicly and conducts its business. Buying "a firm" therefore technically means acquiring the company's name or trading name. In everyday use, though, it's used interchangeably with buying a company — i.e. acquiring the entire business.
