Market-leading physical therapy practice with a training center in the Koblenz area

The business for sale is a highly reputable physical therapy practice with an attached training center in the Koblenz area, which has been successfully established in the market for over 20 years. The practice employs approximately 21 staff members and has positioned itself as the premier destination for holistic therapy and medical training in the region. The practice’s culture is characterized by the highest quality of care, reliability, and close relationships with patients and local physicians. A well-coordinated team of specialized professionals with very low turnover ensures the long-term retention of valuable expertise. Thanks to established management structures in the areas of physical therapy, fitness, and administration, the business already operates with a high degree of operational independence from the owner. The company is currently operating at full capacity and generated revenue of approximately €800,000 in 2025, with excellent operating profitability of about 45%. The practice is located in a very prestigious, approximately 400-square-meter property owned by the business, which is fully digitized and has no backlog of necessary investments. The tangible asset value of the equipment is estimated at approximately €90,000. A buyer stands to benefit from significant growth potential: The existing property offers room for expansion to create additional treatment rooms, allowing for flexible capacity growth. In addition, the existing zoning plan for a senior living facility on the property opens up attractive cross-sourcing opportunities and sustainable synergies. Furthermore, the targeted expansion of the fitness, preventive care, and workplace health sectors offers additional revenue and profit potential. The current owner intends to transfer the business as part of a long-term succession plan. The company is seeking a successor who ideally has a background in physical therapy and will continue the center’s successful development in a solution-oriented manner. The sale includes the commercial property as a complete package. The current owner wishes to retire due to age. The issue of succession has not yet been resolved. The sale of the company to an external successor is therefore an important business priority that is being treated as a top priority.

Owner-operated bicycle shop with repair shop seeks a successor

This owner-operated bicycle shop, which has been in business for over 80 years and features an on-site repair shop, is set to be handed over to new, enthusiastic owners in the near future. The business is located in the heart of Schleswig-Holstein, and its customers come from the town and the surrounding area—many are willing to travel up to 100 km to take advantage of the shop’s service and expert advice. The bicycle dealer works with all major leasing companies and is a member of the trade association. The business is owner-occupied and can be leased or rented. Of course, purchasing the property is also an option, but not a requirement. The repair shop is staffed by four full-time employees and one part-time worker. All repair shop staff assist in sales as needed. In addition, there are two other full-time employees in sales. The average age of all employees is approximately 40 years. The sale of bicycles and accessories accounts for the largest share of total revenue; 45% of revenue comes from e-bike sales through leasing. Further potential exists in the leasing sector and through expanding the product range, such as cargo bikes. The online presence can also be developed, and social media can be integrated. An accompanying buyout is possible. There is also the option to join an excellent, established concept as a franchisee. A non-disclosure agreement is required for an initial consultation.

Buying a company vs. buying a firm

Buying a company means acquiring an independent organizational unit that regularly carries out an economic activity. A company can consist of one or several business operations. An individual can also found such an independent unit if they regularly carry out an economic activity — in that case it is called a sole proprietorship. As a rule, sole proprietors don't have to register in the commercial register; without that registration, they don't legally count as a "firm." A trade name, colloquially a "firm," is the name under which a company or sole proprietor appears publicly and conducts its business. Buying "a firm" therefore technically means acquiring the company's name or trading name. In everyday use, though, it's used interchangeably with buying a company — i.e. acquiring the entire business.
