Internal reference: B-2026-012198
Buying request description
We are seeking technical wholesalers specializing in spare parts and MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul/Operations) for the industrial sector, the manufacturing industry, and/or the machinery and plant engineering sectors, as well as component manufacturers. The business should consist primarily—and ideally 100%—of wholesale operations, although having limited in-house production capacity is not a disqualifying factor. However, the company should be largely “asset-light.” The following criteria form the basis of the search profile: - Specialized distributor (defined product range) - Technical expertise as a USP—not product range breadth - High level of consulting expertise & availability - High barriers to switching; not interchangeable - Internationally scalable (existing or potential) - Pure spare parts business; no project business ✘ No full-range supplier (adhesives, sealants, occupational safety, PPE) ✘ No regional distributor without scalability ✘ No price differentiation based solely on price Revenue: €5–30 million (high proportion of recurring revenue) EBIT margin: 10%+ Equity ratio: 25%+ "Asset-light"
