Key Performance Indicators, abbreviated as KPIs, are performance metrics used in business administration to measure a company’s success. A distinction can be made here between quantitative KPIs, which are easily measured or calculated, and qualitative KPIs, which are not direct measures and are not used to monitor effectiveness.
