Michael Grote (42): Online and IT Expert

It all started with computer hardware. When Michael Grote began to work for Acer Computer in 1996, it did not take long until realizing that he felt at home in the world of IT and online business. He quickly advanced to one of the top market and marketing experts in the high-tech business.

From 2000 onwards, Grote showed entrepreneurial skill when acting as founding chief executive of BenQ Germany. In 2009 he decided to trade his responsibility on the European scale for the challenge of becoming head of his own business. Together with Jens de Buhr he started to develop and implement the concept of Deutsche Unternehmerbörse.

Jens de Buhr (48): Entrepreneur and Media Professional

For more than 20 years, Jens de Buhr successfully combines media with economics: First, after graduating from a business school, as an intern at the Wirtschaftswoche and trainee at Commerzbank, then as editor-in-chief for the Stern and as an editor for the business magazine Capital. Other destinations of the journalist were SAT.1 (as marketing director) and Gruner + Jahr (management assistant).

In 1997, Jens de Buhr launched the JDB Group, which today is one of the largest providers of sales bulletins and PR. Setting up Deutsche Unternehmerbörse is another Highlight in his career as a professional in media and business.

Dr. Michael Stollarz: Member of the Board at Verlagsgruppe Handelsblatt

In 2008 Michael Stollarz took over responsibility for the department for trade magazines and co-operations at the Verlagsgruppe Handelsblatt. Since 2010 he is also in charge of the digital media department. This combination of responsibilities enabled Mr. Stollarz to undertake several strategic investments and partnerships for the Verlagsgruppe that importantly shaped the profile and future competitiveness of the publishing house.  Eventually, in September 2011, Mr. Stollarz was designated CFO for the Handelsblatt and the Wirtschaftswoche.

Prof. Dr. Peter Wollmert: Member of the Board at Ernst & Young GmbH

Peter Wollmert is working as tax advisor and auditor. At Ernst & Young, he is Managing Partner  for the Business Unit Assurance. His professional experience is also well-respected in the academic world: Between 1997 and 2002 he held the chair for General Business Administration, especially Auditing at the European Business School in Wiesbaden. Since then, he was awarded a honorary professorship by the Ministry for Science and Arts of the Land Hessen. Recently, Peter Wollmert teaches international accounting for the chair of Business Administration, Accounting and Auditing at the University of Mannheim.  Since October 2011 Wollmert is member of the board at the German “Institut der Wirtschaftsprüfer” ( IDW).
